Slavo's Leftover Turkey & Dumplings

This is an easy and delicious way to use up your leftover turkey and veggies from your Thanksgiving dinners.


1 lb leftover turkey meat cut into 1” chunks

2 quarts chicken stock

1 yellow onion small diced

1/3 cup carrots small diced

1/4 cup green onions small diced (optional)

1 can biscuits

Leftover turkey gravy

  1. In a large soup pot over medium heat sautee the butter, onions and carrots until carrots become tender
  2. Add chicken stock and bring to boil
  3. Cut biscuits into quarters or sixths
  4. Drop biscuits into boiling stock and cook until they begin to sink
  5. Stir in leftover turkey gravy as this will help thicken
  6. Drop in turkey meat and simmer until meat is heated through (no need to boil as that will make the meat stringy)
  7. Season with Slavo Salt to taste
