Slavo’s Pepper Jack Cheese Grits

We made these grits the other evening to go with our tequila lime chicken and they are our new favorite!! Try them and let us know what you think!!


1 cup grits

2 cups chicken stock

1 tablespoon spicy

1 tablespoon pure garlic

Half onion minced

One red bell pepper minced

One jalapeño seeded and minced

3/4 cup pepper jack cheese grated


  1. Sautee onions and peppers
  2. Add chicken stock and bring to boil
  3. Stir in grits (stir briskly to avoid clumping)
  4. Add Spicy Slavo Salt and Pure Garlic Slavo Salt
  5. After around 4 minutes (when grits thicken) stir in cheese
