This Bourbon Barbecue Sauce recipe is the bomb. This recipe can be made up to 2 weeks prior to serving so it's great for summer holiday parties. Throw this on some ribs and get ready to kick off the summer.
1 cup ketchup
3/4 cup Kentucky bourbon
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons mild (light) molasses
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcesterhire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Sirracha sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons Slavo Salt
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1. Bring all ingredients to boil in saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
2. Reduce heat; simmer until sauce is reduced to 2 cups, stirring often, about 10 minutes.
Can be made 2 weeks ahead. Cover; chill. Use at room temperature.
