Slavo's Beef Jerky


5lbs chuck steak

11/2 cups soy sauce

1/2 cup of balsamic

1 cup Apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup sambal

Original slavo salt


Mix all wet ingredients together. Cut meat into 1/4 inch or thinner slices (be sure to cut across the grain). 

Marinate for one to four hours. Remove excess liquid and place slices on a sheet pan. Pat dry. 

Season generously with original Slavo Salt. 

Cook in smoker at 175 degrees for five to ten hours. The longer it cooks, the drier it will be (we usually cook for about 8 hours). Cook to your preference.
