Slavo’s Cheesy Potato Casserole

YES!!! It’s National Cheese Day! This is our favorite food holiday (just behind National Bacon Day, of course!) We’ll take any excuse to indulge in some cheesy potato deliciousness!

Ingredients:


24 oz Frozen hash browns


1 pt Sour cream - can sub light or fat free


1 bunch Chopped green onions


2 cups Sharp cheddar cheese - shredded


1 can Cream of chicken soup


¾ cup Corn Flakes


4 tbl Butter


3 tbl Slavo Salt

Preparation:


1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl except hash browns and corn flakes. Taste mix to make sure seasoning is right, add more Slavo Salt if needed (I usually do!)


2. Fold in hash browns and mix well


3. Place mixture in a 9” x 13" greased pan


4. Melt 1 tbl of butter and mix with corn flakes slightly crushing them but not pulverizing


5. Sprinkle corn flakes over the top of potato mixture
6. Place in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes
