Slavo's Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus (Day 10 of Whole 30)

One third of the way there - I'm pretty sure the earth's rotation has slowed considerably in the past 10 days! Popped out of bed at 6am ready to kick some ass (this never happens). Could have been that I had a lot to get done or that I'm finally feeling the positive effects of this damn diet. There have been some benefits and it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be (kinda). I've rediscovered my love of fruit; peaches and apples are eye-opening in their flavor. Grilled steak tastes like heaven and bacon…well, bacon is always amazing!

Our days consist of eating eggs and some fruit in the morning, deli cuts and salad for lunch then a big dinner of whatever I can think of that evening. We still haven't had a bad meal flavor-wise and are missing the cheese and booze a little less everyday - though I'd still love to have some. 20 days to go….

Ingredients:

1 bunch Asparagus - I like the thicker spears for this recipe

1/4lb Prosciutto – sliced paper thin

Olive Oil

Slavo Salt

Preparation:

1. Cut the ends off of the asparagus so there's only green

2. VERY lightly rub olive oil into your hands and coat the asparagus.

3. Sprinkle with Slavo Salt. Wrap each spear with a slice of prosciutto.

4. Place on a hot preheated grill for about 4 minutes, rolling occasionally.
